WE6.7 Abdominal X-rays in Emergency Department: Assessing compliance with RCR iRefer guidelines in a Tertiary Hospital's Emergency Department

Abstract Aims Attendance of adult patients to the Emergency Department (ED) with acute abdominal symptoms is common. Abdominal X-ray (AXR) commonly first line imaging preformed. Our aim was audit indication(s) AXR against Royal College Radiologists (RCR) iRefer guidelines. Methods A retrospective cohort study consecutive who had in ED a busy tertiary hospital. Overall, 92.9% requests compliant Conclusions compliance guideline high ED.
